Rebeccak, wow I have not been in CGTALK for 2 whole months I had no idea they had already started the Porfolios. I would have checked yours out earlier to drool all over my keyboard if I had known.
Love your stuff, you have some crazy skill. I know I havent done my Anatomy Review Forum homework dont get mad at me, If had the craziest last 2 months, but I am back now with a vengance lol.
Hey becca! I gotta say I love your charcoal drawings, they're my favorite of all your stuff, so raw and yet so polished and of course with fantastic anatomical knowledge! (like mike!)
Sorry it took me so long to get around to your guestbook, but as you could (probably) guess, I only just twigged onto them. It was a breakthrough, I'll tell ya!
Thanks for the comment in mine though, much appreciated.
Hi Rebecca! You are very talented. I've learned alot from your figure drawing workshops. Hope to get some time to join more of them. Thanks for the inspiration!
You know, I always feel weird saying "dude" to a girl. It just doesnt sound like the proper way to greet them.
Anyway dude, you should definitely hit that margarita up . You're a drawin' fool and hitting the sauce, especially after your workshop, is something that is definitely deserved. Hopefully one day we can hang and have a couple of margs, get drunk, then go beat up some old people. Dude, so much fun
Becca, your work is seriously inspiring. I keep looking at your old pencil sketches and they just blow my mind. I was reading Richard William's Animator's Survival Guide a few days ago and theres this section where he talks about his initial reluctance to do figure studies. And when he finally did breakdown to do them, he had a problem that alot of animator's have, they draw figures as outlines. Which is something I do as well. I need to get away from that. I just keep looking at your sketches and thinking "thats where I need to get". So yeah girlfriend, I think you bust hardcore. You have serious skills and I absolutely love your sketch work. I'm start doing some sketches. Look for my Rebecca-esque sketches soon! Talk later - J
